Mary Beth Gergely, 54, of Auburn, AL passed away June 6th following a brief illness. Daughter of Bill and Carmen Gergely, Mary was born July 3, 1966. A 1984 graduate of Princeton High School, Mary earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Concord College in 1992. Following graduation, Mary went on to serve the community of Princeton as an officer with the Princeton Police Department through 2012.

Mary is predeceased by her father, Bill Gergely of Princeton WV. She is survived by her mother Carmen Gergely of Pasadena, MD, one sister, Monica (Chuck) Yocum, of Pasadena, MD, and two brothers, Bill (Tracey) Gergely of Grainger, IN, and Mike (Jodi) Gergely of Auburn, AL. Mary's eight nieces and nephews include, Kristin Felty, Will Yocum, Caitlyn Gergely, Jordan Gergely, Brandon Gergely, Aaron Gergely, Matthew Gergely, and Nicholas Gergely, and one grandniece, Rosalie Felty.

At Mary's request, services will not be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to the International Myeloma Foundation at www.myeloma.org.
