Roanoke, Virginia - Mrs. Norma Frye of Roanoke, Virginia, stepped into Glory on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

She served her Lord faithfully through many ministries of Shenandoah Baptist Church including the Missions Committee, Vacation Bible School, Roanoke Valley Christian School, and Camp Eagle. She served several years with the Child Evangelism Fellowship.

Norma blessed many people over the years with her cards of encouragement and caring visits. She was always upright in her dealings with others. Norma carried herself with confidence as she gave her best in all she did and expected the best in others. She will be fondly remembered for her wit and wisdom and her love for Jesus.

Besides her love for Jesus, Norma was blessed to experience two loves of her life. She was married to her childhood sweetheart, David Hill, until his passing. Then later in life, she was blessed to marry her senior life sweetheart, Kiah Frye, who also preceded her in death.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Peggy Allie and husband, Carl; son, David Hill and wife, Vickie; and son, Jim Hill and wife, Debbie. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters.

A Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with the processional leaving Oakey's North Chapel at 10 a.m. A Celebration of her Life will follow the service at Shenandoah Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Roanoke Valley Christian School or to Camp Eagle.
