Valerie Diane Akers Blanton, 60, originally of Princeton, WV passed away on September 8, 2020. She graduated in 1977 from Princeton High School.
She was preceded in death by father and brother Gary Wayne Akers.
She is survived by her mother, Reta Collins Shirey, brother Jeffery Akers (Carol) and children, Jason, Cameron and Krystal Blanton, and, three grandchildren and many friends and family.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service on a later date.
